Is there a size limit on a single note?
Each and every note on all records can contain up to 65,536 characters.
What is the maximum size of an attachment?
Maximum attachment size is a configuration option in Dynamics GP. Setup >> Company Document Attachment Management.
Is there a limit on the number of notes that can be added for one record?
Somewhere around 4,294,967,296 records.
When I upgrade to Document Attach does this affect Enhanced Notes?
No, Enhanced Notes wraps the standard notes process. The Ole Document to Document Attach is part of the Dynamics GP Upgrade process.
The notes window is extremely large/small?
The note window size is stored in the dex.ini. Edit your dex.ini and remove the line starting “NotesWindow=”. Note you cannot change the size of the window on the web client it is fixed.
